IHC Polymer-based detection kits - Mouse tissues - Anti-Mouse IgG - Alkaline phosphatase (AP)
Antigen detection with primary antibody of the same species as the test tissue yields high background when indirect detection method is used. This severely limits the use of screening human antibody on human tissues.
Our kits are specifically designed to significantly reduce endogenous mouse Ig staining when using mouse primary antibodies on mouse tissue. The inability of an anti-mouse detection antibody to distiguish between a primary antibody produced in mice and the endogenous mouse immunoglobulins present in mouse tissue results in high background staining which obscures specific staining.
The most commonly used HRP substrates are DAB and AEC. These 2 substrates form brown (DAB) and red (AEC) insoluble precipitates when they are oxidized by HRP. It is for this reason that they are commonly called chromogens. The localization of the target proteins is then carried out by microscopic visualization of the precipitates within the tissue.
