HRP Chromogen - DAB-Ni

HRP Chromogen - DAB-Ni

DAB (3,3'-Diaminobenzidine) is one of the most used substrates for peroxidase. Our DAB-Ni substrate is a DAB system enriched in nickel chloride with a higher sensitivity and contrast than conventional DAB. DAB-Ni forms a black deposit when it reacts with peroxidase.
The DAB-Ni substrate requires a 5 minute incubation in a humid chamber at room temperature. The appearance of the staining can be followed by observation under the microscope.
When good staining is achieved, it is necessary to rinse the slides with water for 1-2 minutes to remove excess DAB-Ni.
Like DAB, DAB-Ni is insoluble in alcohol and other organic solvents. Samples can be counter-stained, dehydrated and permanently mounted (O-Mount).
